It could have been a sign. I wouldn't be surprised if it was one, aimed towards myself, though it may not have been to draw my attention short of a connection. I like to think Danny would not have stabbed me - we were getting along quite well.

Or, it could have been an indicator of height - the level at which someone could comfortably stab someone else. Either way, it was strange.
