If the battle ends in defeat, the moon will return to its place and rest. Six normal night cycles will pass in this world, allowing the heroes to relax and focus on other troubles while the moon heal and prepare for its return. On the brightest night of the seventh month, while the heroes are distracted by other happenings, the moon will return. Such is its cycle: you can send the moon away, but the moon will always return.
