Today, when Jolyne is alone, they will receive a text message from Crimson Phoenix.
Without warning, Phoenix's prinny appears at their side to shoo them onward toward the Sirius Theater. No tickets needed; the prinny takes them straight backstage to the green room where Crimson Phoenix is waiting, one leg crossed over the other.
"Yo! I've got a special mission for you."
On their phone, Jolyne will find a new app available to them: BODYGUARD. In the app, they will find a set of rules that they must accept in order to continue:
After reading the rules and accepting, Jolyne will be greeted with a new screen with the names of all surviving heroes, and prompted to make their choice. Once they have done so for the week and closed the app, they will not be able to open it again, nor will anyone else will be able to see or access the app or the information within.
Crimson Phoenix watches them with their usual, confident smile, and spreads their arms wide. "A worthwhile mission, wouldn't you say? Well, let me know if you have questions. I'm here to help."

RULES1. Once a week, the Bodyguard will be given the chance to protect up to two of their fellow heroes in two different ways:
2. The Bodyguard may not protect the same hero two weeks in a row.
- The Bodyguard may choose one hero to grant immunity from murder on Thursday night. If this hero is marked for death, the Bodyguard will take their place and will have the chance to fight to survive. They must not be aware of the protection they've been granted, or the protection will be nullified and they will die if targeted.
- The Bodyguard may choose one hero to grant immunity from execution on Sunday. If this hero is voted for in trial, they will survive the execution. They must not be aware of the protection they've been granted, or the protection will be nullified and they may not survive the execution.
3. Alternatively, the Bodyguard may choose to protect no one in a given week.
4. The Bodyguard must keep this role a secret.
