No matter where you go in Oceanside City, you can hear and see the signs of life. Cars idling in traffic, people making conversation as they travel to and fro, grills sizzling, factories running, and everything in between. This city is alive with the sounds of countless people packed in like sardines, going about their everyday lives. Though crowded, it's possible to eke out a living here, provided someone is willing to work hard for it.
Each person's story is rich and unique, but not every story is a happy one. Some take a darker path, turning to criminal acts and villainy in an attempt to make a name for themselves. It's easy pickings in a city this size, where there's too many places for villains to hide and too many people for criminals to rob. The weak and powerless can do little but put out the call for those who can make a difference.
From everywhere at once, you can hear the cries of the masses. "Save us," they say, "You're the only ones who can help us!" You are one of the very few with the power to stand up for the weak, and the city needs someone like you. The spotlights are blinking on, the super suit is pressed and ready to go. The people are crying out for the heroes they need. Will you answer the call?

becomehero, an upcoming team-based murdergame set to open September 15th. This will be a murder mystery game intended to accommodate up to 40 players.
Become Hero is a game where all characters will find themselves in a new city, with new powers. Here, they are hailed as heroes, and must work together with their team in a point-based competition to help the citizens around them, try to claim the title of best heroes, and save the universe they call home in the process.
★ Tentatively there is not a current age limit being enforced for applications. This, of course, will be re-addressed on a case-by-case basis to make sure that, considering the nature of the game, player comfort isn't sacrificed in the spirit of creative freedom. Likewise, characters of any origin, shape, or form may be applied to this game, so long as there's a way that they can be killed. If you're unsure of what you may have in mind, feel free to ask!
★ Powers will be nerfed upon a character's arrival, but don't worry about that. They will acquire a new power to experiment with.
★ Character cast caps are set by default at three per canon, but we're willing to be flexible on a case-by-case basis, depending on the canon and characters at issue. If a cast is at cap, please talk to the mods!
★ This game will operate both on RNG'd killers and on murder proposals. There may be some bribes, situations and ultimatums that come up that challenge characters and push them into doing the unthinkable.
★ With that in mind, while it's easier to have a character that would be willing the kill, this is not entirely necessary! Characters should have some negative qualities to draw from, but others are fine as long as you can come up with a reason for them to kill. All that we ask is that your character has at least one or two things that could sway them into killing should the need arise.
This game will run on an invite-only basis. If you received an invite from Maple, Mira, Pan, or Ray, you're golden. If any slots are still available after our initial round of invites, we will allow players to hit us up with suggestions for anyone they may wish to invite. Please be sure to ask your mods before extending any +1s!
