I think so? I don't really remember anything before I was brought to the lab. I just remember she brought me there and after that she introduced me to my siblings.

Yeah! I can't tell you about what they were doing there because it's top secret, but we grew up there with Mother and the other scientist. It was pretty nice there.

Yeah, there were a bunch of us. We were never really far without each other and we all had a different role to play in the group.

Roles? Like a video game? Y'know, healer, tank, dps...?

[ They consider it a moment. ] Yeah, something like that! We split up the healing and tasks based on our strengths. For example, I hit things really hard! While one of my brothers can shoot things from further away.

Ranged and close range... huh. It sounds like they were making sure that, as a group, you covered everything.

Yeah, Mother would think of something like that. It wasn't just with weapons or abilities. It's like we aren't whole without the others.

... That's either really clever planning, or ... maybe slightly ominous, I'm not sure. You were treated well though, right?

Very well! Mother was very kind to me and so were all of my siblings.

You see a lot of sci-fi stories -- kids growing up in a lab aren't always there for the best of reasons. And a lot of the time they get poorly treated.

I don't know if it was for the best reasons, but I wouldn't change anything or the choices we have made.

What about you? We are talking so much about me and Ryuski, but we haven't talked much about you.

I... guess it's kinda early days. There's not a whole lot that's opened up so far. And no hobby store, so I'm a little stuck without a hobby to go off of.
