While I do know a number of you are familiar with the resort part, my office is past where you wouldn't normally be able to get in without some stares.

[ he does allow it! he has been here very often because of the penthouse, but he is still slightly apprehensive all the same and sticks close to rabbit. ]

Considering I didn't even know you had a real office? I'd believe it. Have you always had it here?

[ They take note, but won't comment on it for now. He can share his casino issues at his own time. They will pick up the pace so he isn't around it for long. ]

We all have real offices, but we only use it for important meetings or playing mahjong.

We are. We have spent quite a bit of time together before you all arrived. Aquamarine Fox is a good kid as well. [ It is both nice and sad considering everything ]

That'll only make him feel like he's won. Besides, if he keeps coming back it means he likes bothering me. [ So it's a win in it's own way. They are just like this. ]

[ when rabbit said nico could stand to be less polite this was likely not what they meant, but it's fine. he finds himself shaking his head because sure, that's what works for them, and he's not going to interfere with team dynamics. instead, he's taking out his phone and flipping through his notes. ]

These prinnies first arrived with Pink Pig. They seemed to be some sort of servant, though when asked for more details they would only respond with “They are repaying their sins.” What sins those are were unclear at the time of questioning.

Pink Pig’s prinnies seem to spawn from the newspaper building. Though the hero is lost to us, the prinnies they brought to the world are still working to this day. Occasionally, they can be seen entering and exiting the newspaper building. While rumors are currently abound, none are confirmed. These prinnies may be the ones stocking the newspapers throughout the city. There has been some talk of the prinnies paying off their remaining debt, though when pressed they would not reveal any specific details. They maintain what secrecy Pink Pig asked of them."

and another letter:

"While the written word has power enough to shape reality, there seem to be some limitations. Something must be lost to attain something of equal value. If power is asked for, something must be sacrificed in turn. What luck. There are many heroes here to sacrifice, for plans they shall not understand. Their deaths shall be my fuel and with that fuel I will become empowered. May their worlds fall to me and burn under moonlight."

and a separate letter:

"Hello, young heroes. Or whatever you would prefer to call yourselves, I'm hardly the type to put titles on others.

Anyway, I shall begin to get to the point.

Those souls who've been lost during the span of this competition are not completely beyond your reach. On the upcoming full moon, there will certainly be danger from the man in white calling himself the moon. It will also be the most opportune time to recover your deceased heroes.

The red moon is when prinnies reincarnate, though considering the strange circumstances of this world, they would not be starting over from the beginning of their lives. As long as they're in the moonlight they should recover back to themselves without issue.

Do with this information what you will, but do attempt to hold onto what hope you can. As dire as the situation is, it is not impossible to see it through." ]

Not much older than your leader. [ They are grinning at that. ] I stopped aging in my twenties.

[ He's the only one they shared that bit to. ]

Someone has been keeping us in the loop for the older ones, so you needn't worry about that. [ They are going to read the notes though. They do look a bit more serious about the second bit, but choose to not comment on that. At the last one, they will smile fondly. ] I'm fairly sure the writer of the last one is Pink Pig.

[ :o he looks. immediately curious about this. ]

Are you...I know Izuminokami's a sword spirit, but are you a kind of spirit as well?

[ maybe that isn't important, but again. he's curious. ]

Will told me he was trying to keep all of you in the loop, and I'm sure your Rabbits are trying as well. [ but he raises an eyebrow to that. ] You think? What can you tell me about them?

I'm not, but some swords do have spirits in my world, too. I believe there are movies here of martial artists who can use mystical art. It's something very similar to that. I'm a cultivator.

[ They smile at that. ]

Will has been most helpful. My rabbits only started to share with me recently. [ They don't fault them there, but still makes them want to pinch them ] They are something of an instructor from the same world of the prinnies. A big of a strange one, but always funny to be around.

No wonder you said you were used to fighting. [ cool? cool. he looks immediately intrigued about this and has, like, twenty thousand questions immediately. ] What kind of arts can you use then? How does it all work? I mean...you've talked to Will, you know what we are. I guess I'm just wondering how you tap into stuff or whatever.

[ he shakes his head almost fondly to that. ]

Feels backwards, but also not that surprising. [ he is considering this though. ] When you say that...do you mean like...they're an instructor from the same world as the prinnies themselves? Or like. They actually instruct the prinnies?

Some of my abilities here are similar, but I do miss being able to heal on my own or getting stronger after breaking a few bones. [ They aren't sure if their styles will match up to him. ] It's similar to something Will has suggested I read before... Star Wars? However we use the energy from within and around us to fight or use spells.

It is, but I am grateful. Besides, Will is much better company by a long shot. [ Their bunnies are either stinky or mushy at each other. ] They instruct prinnies and have a love for sardines.

[ raising both eyebrows real high. ]

Wait do you mean breaking your own? Because that sounds counterproductive, but if you can also heal...[ he is thinking through everything even if he just. groans tiredly. ] So instead of using the force, you're using, like, the universe. Makes as much sense as everybody else's powers. How much of a downgrade did you get when you came here?

[ this is week 5, so rabbit gets to see the very lovely thought of he's better company than everyone before it peters out. ]

...sounds kind of strange, but I guess everybody has a weird quirk or two. [ ... ] This may be presumptuous, but we've been sort of thinking that our friends who've died here are just working for the newspaper. Do you think people like Pink Pig and the others are in a similar place?

It only works if it happens in a fight, and it'll increase my strength. [ They become stronger! Faster! etc... ] Energy from the universe and from within ourselves. [ They sigh at the downgrade ] Quite a huge one if I'm honest. I can't make charms that'll transport objects or turn invisible for starters.

[ I keep forgetting when this was, but they'll just think Cute. He's lucky Rabbit isn't bullying them for seeing thoughts like they do their team. ]

Quirky is a word that suits them. [ They nod at that ] I do think so. I wonder if it has to do with Marigold Monkey.
