It can be. But it's strange...Nimona and I have the same power, but she doesn't seem to be struggling with this. Could it be something specific to the leaders?

She might not be struggling because it's not actually the same power, Tiger. They might look the same on the surface, but I don't think they really are. [ this isn't said unkindly, but more like something he's thought about. ]

...I suppose it might not be.

I'll ask the other leaders about the problems with powers though, to see if they're having some difficulties too.

I think that's not a bad idea. It's better to know now so we can figure out what to do before things get too hard to reverse. [ and he's thinking on this... ] Another reason to find blank pages, or that book that keeps being talked about. If we could find it and write in that none of that's happening maybe it'll stop.

That would be a good way out of these problems, wouldn't it? I just hope we can find something on that front.

You and me both. I know people are still finding notes and things, and knowing this place even more people are going to be sent on those dumb trips to find notes. [ frowning... ] Any luck on your guys' end in finding leads?

No more than what we've been told by Will and Hung. And I'm assuming you have those notes already.

Yeah. Everything is kind of shared with each other so we can all update other people as we go, just to be sure everyone knows what to keep an eye out for. I guess I was hoping maybe you guys had access to places we didn't yet, but...Oceanside's still pretty limited, isn't it?

It is, yes. And it seems like most of the information is being given out on those trips you go on sometimes.

...Phoenix told me about the one you guys were on. Did you guys ever figure out why it happened?

No. All I can guess is that it's something related to all the powers being used here. Two powers mixing could have created a singularity or something.

That's probably likely. Power-mixing can be pretty messy if you aren't careful with which ones are in play. You think it was a combination that opened, like, a portal?

That's the most likely possibility, at least in my eyes. In my world, everything unusual that happens is because of a power or two powers reacting to each other. So I'm more inclined to believe powers caused the strange trips here.

I guess that's a pretty decent possibility. Most things that happen where we're from are because of certain people with power changing things around. I wish we had a more concrete answer, but that's better than nothing to go off of for right now.
