Yeah, Fox is really good at that. But it can't hurt to look around for some extra snacks. [he pats one of his cargo short pockets.] I've got plenty of space to carry it when I'm out and about.

What do you end up doing with most of your day, anyway? I know there's hero stuff, but we haven't actually... seen that many villains in town...

Cargo pants are good for that kinda thing.

Most of the villains are in jail, so there's that.

Uh... mostly I do most of what I did at home. Go to university, catch a couple of classes.

What classes are you enrolled in?

I'm not officially enrolled, but I'm in the literature classes sometimes.

[stunwhistle]

Yeah? Learned any interesting stuff?

It's mostly the same as the literature classes I took at home. I guess when it comes to storytelling, it's universal.

Actually, speaking of literature, mind if I help you take your groceries back to your place? I heard about some stuff from a book but it's easier to talk about it once we're not shopping.

[ Cutting ahead: Goat's dorm is Very Much a college dorm, that's the entire vibe of the kitchen and the living room. There's a kitchen, a counter, and a living room couch that looks like more than five people could fit on. ]

Nico and Hung showed me the notes they found while they were... away, last week. And Fox mentioned that you guys found a page out of a book before we got here? ...I saw that one, and it looked like it matched what they got, so.

[he offers goat his phone so they can see pictures of the cyoa notes from last week which you guys already know about because you're the mods so i'm not copying them]

It looks like the same kinda page as we saw before you guys got here... but why are they being found out there...? How are they getting there, I mean?

No idea. It feels weird to me that this stuff is being found, too, instead of just being explained upfront if it's actually supposed to be legit.

I hope it isn't legit. This is so... over the top, even for a scripted villain.

Yeah, you can practically see them twirling their mustaches and cackling evilly about it.

You'd think they'd be a little more subtle than... this.

In my experience most really evil people don't have a subtle bone in their body.

[ There's a pause here like they're going through their mental Rolodex of evil. ]

I dunno, some people are good at hiding it.

Yeah, until they get the chance to do their evil monologue. And then it's like, "Muahaha! Cower before me! I am literally the architect behind every terrible thing that's gone wrong in the past year and a half!"

Actually, I'm never sure why people don't just cut them down while they're monologuing.

[ Sometimes it's more along the lines of "I'm so bitter about my breakup with your father and so I'm going to take it out on you specifically." ]

In terms of storytelling? It's for the drama, but in real life? Dunno. It seems like it'd be a good time to punch the guy out.
