One of my dorm's tasks is to find me, so I am making myself scarce from the dorm. But besides that, just reading.

I got a little busy last week, but honestly, I don't want the only time I talk to you guys to be when we're in the middle of a murder trial or something.

So... figured it couldn't hurt to come say hi?

That would stifle attempts at friendship, to only talk at murder trials.

So what do you usually end up doing with your time when you aren't playing hide and seek with your team?

I actually do spend a lot of time here. But lately I have been going over to Rabbit's dorm to visit my cats.

If they're your cats, what are they doing at Rabbit's dorm?

Members of my dorm keep leaving things around that are dangerous if cats ingest them. Or they tape knives to roombas.

[They sound just a little salty.]

But regardless, I moved them to Rabbit's dorm for now since their members are a bit calmer. And they said they would look after them for me.

[i'm sorry, he's a dumb teenage boy, this just sounds super funny to him. the roomba thing, anyway. the dangerous-for-cats-to-ingest things, not so much.]

...well, it was nice of them to do that for you. It seems like you guys are pretty close. You and the other team leaders, I mean.

[Okay, hearing that name for them makes them go 'pffft' But they stay mostly composed otherwise.]

We look out for each other. I think they're like that because I'm one of the youngest too.

That makes sense. Back home, older campers always looked after the younger ones - why wouldn't it work the same way here?

Pretty much. Though almost all of us are adults anyway, so it leaves me feeling like a moody little brother sometimes.

Well, you've got thirty-something more of us now! Some of us have got to be younger than you, so maybe you're more of a middle child now?

Actually, it looks like a third of you are younger than me.

It's a little different? Most of the people I interact with are my age or younger. I mean, some are older, but...

It's mostly other campers.

Are there a lot of demigods there?

Yeah. It's one of the only safe places for people like us.

Places like that are important to have, especially for kids and teenagers.
