It's reasonable to look at another way out from something like this. As much as I would say to consider all your options, I don't believe that would be enough.

If it's legit we're dooming ourselves if we don't do it, but if it's not legit, we're killing people for no reason!

We can't toss it out yet. We don't know if it's true, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was.

I have some pretty strong suspicions

Four or five, depending on how much overlap there was with previous weeks.

We're already on the fourth week of the competition.

If there's overlap we might have an issue.

We can't do anything about the past. Moving forward, is what I meant.

There's only so many people on each team. If a team gets entirely wiped they'll become citizens.

On the down low in case the moon is watching. Or listening. Or whatever. Hopefully people will be smart about it.

But I hate saying that because these are still people's lives we're talking about.

The moon is only out at night. If you share during bright daylight, you're safe.

I understand. The stakes are high, and playing with lives is terrible. This entire situation is awful.

Any theories on why this note looks different from the other ones?

It could be possible that they couldn't deliver the note itself. Maybe they thought the book was too dramatic, and they wanted to simplify it down to the essential points.

If this is the less dramatic version I am dying to know what the more dramatic version would have looked like

Something like that, maybe.
