Ah, it's different from the city I'm used to... but people still tend to be the same wherever you go, don't you think?

Pretty true! They always bounce back no matter what happens, don't they?

Yep yep! And that's what we've seen here while we've been rebuilding things, too.

Is it not like that where you're from?

They wouldn't look twice, not unless they were personally affected.

Ehhh... I guess different worlds really are different! Everyone helps each other out where I'm from.

Out of mutual need, or only out of the desire to help?

Depends on the person, I think! I've seen both. One of the guys I know back home is, like, the nicest person you'd ever meet, and he'd definitely help whoever needed it just because!

Ah... so he's the type who's easily taken advantage of, then.

[offer yourself too freely, and it's bound to happen.]

Hm... You could say that.

But he has a bunch of friends looking out for him, so I don't think it really works out that way too often.
