Was there something you needed here at the theater? Or were you supposed to deliver costumes or supplies, too?

Nah, nothing like that. I actually wanted to see if you could maybe explain the deal with the moon here to me? I asked Goldie some questions the other day but they said they never really paid attention and it'd be better to ask you or some of the others.

The moon...? What do you mean, exactly?

[doghouse]

I mean, the moon "falling" was supposed to be a whole big thing, right?

[ they cross their arms and lean back in their chair. ]

That is what started the battle a month before you all showed up, yes. The moon crashed into the city, destroyed most of it, and things got crazy for a while. It was a bit difficult to keep track of everything at the time.

[doghouse]

Yeah, see, there's a lot about that that I'm tryin' to wrap my head around. Like... wouldn't a moon crashing down destroy a lot more than one city? What happened to it afterward? And what's the deal with the moon we're seein' here now, is that just like, a projection or something?

I... suppose it could?

[ they seem confused, so they simply shrug. ]

I don't know. It just appeared back in the sky shortly after the fight ended. I'm afraid that I don't know how it works.

[doghouse]

That didn't seem weird to you...? That it just somehow ended up back in the sky?

I guess so... but I don't really know how it could fall from the sky in the first place.

[doghouse]

Yeah, me neither, but everyone always talks like that part's a definite real thing that happened. Ya think maybe it didn't really?

No, it did happen. We all saw it. But I wasn't aware that it could, until then. I'm not really a scientist, so who knows?

[doghouse]

What'd it look like?

[ they grow quiet for a moment, frowning. ]

Well, it was a full moon that day, and it just kept growing bigger and bigger. We weren't sure what to expect, so we tried to evacuate what we could, but it came too quickly to get everyone to safety.

Before long, it began to crash into the taller buildings, and after that, all you could see for a while was destruction.
