aquamarine
fox
dorm
The first floor contains a spacious seating area with couches in a familiar, bright aquamarine. Floor to ceiling windows give the area plenty of light for all the plants dotting the room's tables and walls, and of course for visitors to lounge and read a book plucked from the shelves. The ceiling is high, allowing a glance up to the second floor through the balcony, but only those who live here are able to scan their ID cards at the elevator to access higher floors.
The elevators open on the second floor to a more comfortable living room occupied with sleek furniture, allowing for easy conversation around the fireplace or television. The room itself is understated, with subtle but beautiful artistic elements scattered around the space. The only splashes of color come from potted plants, flowers, or artwork on the walls, somehow a perfect complement to the wood tones throughout the space.
Turn the corner, and they'll find the kitchen, fully stocked and ready for use. A new set of flowers decorates the countertop every morning, along with a bowl of candy sitting on the counter that always seems to refill when you're not looking, no matter how much you take.
Stairs or elevator will take you to the third floor, where loft-style bedrooms await. Every hero gets their own room, decorated with flowers and canvases of art on the walls to suit their tastes. The lower part of the room contains a small, personal seating area, a desk and chair, and a small shelving unit. The bed is up the stairs, with a dresser and large window with aquamarine curtains. Bathrooms decorated with with aquamarine tiles are shared between neighbors, with one per two bedrooms. The vanity is separate from the private areas, but do try to be respectful. Toiletries are complimentary, fully stocked with soaps smelling of citrus, hair care, and even some makeup options, if you want it.
The fourth floor is only accesible by elevator. It is currently locked.
As they enter the dorm for the first time, heroes will find they have a new notification from the AMAZOOM app:
After reading the notification, heroes will feel a new power welling up within them, and with it, the inherent knowledge that they can only use this ability once each week. They may want to use it carefully.

Congrats! You've received a new perk from Aquamarine Fox.

2. Catch Me If You Can
3. Immersion

Terms and conditions may apply. Check your Amazoom Orders for further details on how to use the powers provided to you and limitations that they may be subject to.
Thank you for shopping with Amazoom!
After reading the notification, heroes will feel a new power welling up within them, and with it, the inherent knowledge that they can only use this ability once each week. They may want to use it carefully.
private
room
Opposite the bedrooms on the third floor, heroes can find a private room, available only to those who live in the Aquamarine Fox dorms: a studio, stocked with materials to make just about anything you like. The decor here is mostly neutral and understated, so as not to interfere with your creativity, but if you look to the ceiling, you see a painting of a plain blue sky.
All kinds of art supplies are stored in various shelves and drawers: paints, brushes, pencils, canvases, glitter, clay, wood, carving tools - even bolts of fabric with thread, dyes, trims, and notions to help make your dream outfit a reality. And, of course, there are reference books on the shelves as well, just in case you need a little help or inspiration.
Please be sure to keep this room a secret from the other teams! You can invite others over to visit, but do not let them into the private room or describe it for them.

[the text is accompanied by a photo of a note:]
So far no one's been able to disprove this, so we are going to have to think very seriously about what we have to do. We know that Gold Mouse, Amethyst Snake, White Tiger, and Cobalt Ox are covered. I don't know who did it, but I was told Janeway's killed was someone from one of those teams.
That leaves us, Crimson Phoenix, Emerald Goat, and Yellow Rabbit that need to act, unless someone from one of those teams killed Satan.
At least one person from every team knows this and is sharing it with the rest of their team, so we don't need to spread it around where the moon might overhear or whatever.
I'm sorry, guys. I was really hoping this wouldn't be true.

week 2, thursday
Could you all come to the living room? I've got something I need to share with you guys.
[once they arrive there, they'll find him sitting upright, in clean clothes. he looks like he's been healed up and patched up to varying degrees - he is at least not bleeding everywhere and seems to have taken a shower and bandaged his wounds, since some bandages are peeking out from under his clothes.]
Okay, so... I found this when we were on our way back from ... wherever it was we were before.
[it's a newspaper clipping, which reads:]
In the wake of the penultimate battle, many have found themselves with more questions than answers. First and foremost among them: what was the goal of the battle? Our heroes naturally set out to protect the citizens of Oceanside City, but for what reason would the moon wish to fight at all?
One theory suggests that a certain book may have something to do with it, though we have few leads on how at this time. What we do know is that the book was originally in the moon’s possession, until hero Silver Horse obtained it during the course of the battle. Several eyewitness accounts claim that the book was severely damaged in the ensuing struggle, inciting the moon to attack and ultimately kill Horse in its rage.
News footage seems to support this theory, but it raises yet more questions: Why would our heroes risk their lives for a book? What is its importance? What do its pages contain? Though it seems ordinary at best, it clearly holds some significance to both the moon and the heroes. Investigators have expressed interest in asking the remaining heroes about the matter, perhaps after giving them some time to grieve their lost compatriots.
[once they've all had a chance to look at it, he pulls out his phone and pulls up two photos.]
These were found last week, too - figured we should all get on the same page about them.
[the first note in the photo is handwritten and reads:]
The stakes so far have been too boring. It’s no fun when all they do at the end of the day is go home, so for the next round, we’ll spice it up a bit. If they want a chance for anyone to return at all, they’ll have to take that chance from someone else.
One death each week is enough to keep the door open. Kill, or lose everything any of them have cared about. Let’s see how heroic they can be in those conditions.
[the second is also handwritten and reads:]
These heroes are unable to return to the worlds they call home while they have yet to win their competition. If a team loses, all those within the team, present and future, those worlds they hail from will come under the light of the moon. Those worlds will be forever changed with the loss of the heroes hailing from them. There is nothing better than a hero under distress.
By winning they will be putting their companions here at risk. By losing, their homes will be rewritten to be completely different, erasing their place within it. A dire situation indeed. A benefit no matter the outcome.
[he'll give them a chance to read those over.]
...I don't know yet if the other group that came back today found something, too. Judging from the way mine and the others did, probably, but for obvious reasons I haven't had the chance to follow up. But... you guys deserve to know. So.
no subject
Someone's really been messing with them on purpose. It's... almost a relief to have confirmation of as much.
More importantly... ]
So that's the 'danger' our worlds are in? In my case, that may be doing my world a favor... but I imagine that's not the case for any of you.

I'm staying over at Nico's tonight. I'll see you guys tomorrow.
Also - I saw the note the other group got. Here's what it said:
If any one of these teams would be entirely wiped, those teams will become part of this world. Every member will believe they have always lived in this world, forgetting where they hail from. They'll become citizens who will be powerless and clueless during the next cycle.

So, powers are all over the place, this week. We should go around and see who has what, that way we can explain things and help with them.
Also, because I'm not totally sure who's I have yet, but I know Cici has mine.

Well, I can't heal anymore, which would've been great to know before I tried to go heal Hung. [help.] I haven't really tried to use anyone else's powers yet though so... no idea how this would even work.

Week 3, Sunday Evening
I know this sucks to talk about, but we now have three people out there who got away with murder. [ That's 1/7ths of the people left!! ]
There's no real justice in this place and it's pointless trying to claim there is, but there is real danger. People are playing by loyalties now - and there's still a good chance that's the reason Ms. Janeway had to die. Reigen killed Yae Miko after all. Even his friends think so - Mr. Datz certainly let it slip.
We should talk about how to go on and deal with all of that.
[ A pause. ]
And if any of you finds themselves in a position where you had to kill someone, tell me. I'll help cover for you.
no subject
[will is here! he's got his phone with him and is checking something on it - after a moment, he holds it out so anyone who wants to can see it. there are two photos - one of a note, and one of a newspaper clipping.
the note reads - ]
...I think this is probably the one you got, Vane? Someone else showed it to me. But if it turns out you got something different, we can compare them.
[and then the newspaper clipping reads -]
[he drums his fingers on the table.]
...it's pretty clear at this point that these deaths aren't going to stop. It's also pretty clear from the update to the rules about acting as villains that we're expected to do it. [...] In fact, I think the rule about "may only act as villains" should probably be more accurately revised to read "must act as villains".
There's someone I've been talking to who's got reason to believe that we may actually have to kill to get back home. They asked me to keep it on the down-low for now, but until something gets found that proves otherwise, I think we might have to. So. Please don't spread it to anyone else just yet - [mainly because i don't want to steal anyone's thunder oocly if things are in the works but I don't have a good IC reason for will to not at least be vague about it to his teammates at this point yet] - but we probably need to... at least think about what we'll do if it does come to that.
[he sighs.]
...as for Reigen. Um... yeah. He kind of made it pretty obvious himself when he was yelling at Adlet yesterday. I did talk with him about it and - well. It was self-defense. Yae Miko came after him first, and he tried to get her into the jail so that the power dampeners there would keep her from using her power against him. But it all ended up going wrong. [...] So there were things I missed on my inspection of his injuries. But... I don't think he had anything to do with Janeway.
I think we need to figure out what happened to Satan and to Janeway. The sooner we know who did it, the sooner we can ask why, and the sooner we can come up with some kind of a plan to get as many of us out of this situation as we can. We don't want to take everyone out from a single team, either, if that note about them becoming part of this world was real.

Vane's baking various pies and cookies; sullenly, as if it's all done automatically. But maybe he's just that much of an expert in the kitchen and doesn't wanna ruin the depression for all the moody teens (and Hana) in the dorm.
Anyway, you may all have this, just as he takes some cookies out of the oven. ]

w6 ( wednesday )
Hey, so, just so everyone's aware apparently someone from the dead has to eat the moon after it becomes a rock. I'm pretty sure we got that point across after we got to talk to everyone and what we've got from the newspaper --
I don't think anything Norma and I discussed didn't get mentioned. Guy with a top hat and what not, the heroes that died are wherever they are, too. I made sure to tell her to keep an eye out for anything about a book that Silver Horse died with.
There's also a guy there with blue hair that she only noticed like a couple weeks in? She couldn't get his name.
