The first floor is black and gray in color with colorful inflatable furniture breaking up the dark. There's a security desk with an array of take-out menus in case anyone wants to order something in. Further in on a wall is a collection of sun shaped mirrors arranged together to almost look like cogs. At the back is the elevator and the end of a slide that seems to wrap around the elevator's shaft and disappear into the high ceiling. Those who live here can access the higher floors by scanning their ID card against at the elevator's button.

The elevator opens up to a workout space. There's an obstacle course with tunnels, slides, rope swings, and a balancing board. Half of it goes over a large ball pit, which is where one might find the dorm's prinny occasionally. Next to that is a sparring ring with foam bats, helmets, and padding just to be safe. There's a small changing room with showers in the back in case someone doesn't want to trek back up in sweaty clothes. Everything here is painted in a bright sunrise color palette.

The elevator's final stop is the third floor and it opens up to a large living room with teal and blue couches full of throw pillows. The wall behind the couches is full of art pieces and neon lights encouraging people to be happy or have fun. There's floor cushions and throw blankets piled up next to the couches in case anyone wants to get cozy on the floor. There is a large screen on the opposite wall and a collection of action and romantic comedy movies. The kitchen is small, but just as colorful in comparison. There doesn't seem to be much in the way of food, but there's plenty microwavable meals, per-made biscuit dough in tubes, and soft drinks. The freezer is full of ice cream and the pantry is full of snacks and candy. Next to the kitchen is the dining area and a set of gold stairs that takes them up to the next floor. This is also where the start of the slide that takes people down to the first floor is.

The stairs lead up to the fourth floor which consists of a small sitting room and a wide hallway. Black doors, wall hooks, and dinosaur heads break up the color explosion on the walls. There are three bedrooms in shades of blue or white with their attached bathroom. Each room has a bunk bed, a desk with a cute lamp, and a closet for them to share.

The end of the hallway has the door to the Secret Room, a set of stairs that leads up to Mouse's room, and the ending of another gold slide. Secret club room! Mouse team only is written above the secret room.

As they enter the dorm for the first time, heroes will find they have a new notification from the AMAZOOM app:

Congrats! You've received a new perk from Gold Mouse.

Hanging above a door is a sign that says Secret club room! Mouse team only. The room itself is much fancier compared to the other spaces in the dorm. There's black marble flooring, white paneled walls, and thick curtains in gold and red. There's a large table in the center with a map of the city in the middle and a television screen on the wall. There's red floor cushions tucked under the table in case anyone wants to get cozy, but that's the only bit of comfort compared to the rest of the room.

Please be sure to keep this room a secret from the other teams! You can invite others over to visit, but do not let them into the private room or describe it for them.

Before I forget, we have some new tasks!
1. After last night, I want to build even more forts! Maybe we should teach some of the others our fort building techniques or even just plant the idea in their heads to make one.
2. Trade purikura photo stickers with someone! They are those cute photo stickers you can get in the mall! You don't have to trade your own, but I do find it's more fun to let people have something of you.
3. There are a lot of new shops in the mall. I bet you can find a lot of orange or something interesting to wear there!
4. There's something called a horoscope and sometimes you can compare it to other people. It sounds really neat even if I don't really understand it.

3. Play Two Truths and a Lie with someone. I always wanted to try this, but I'm kind of bad at coming up with lies.
4. Deliver these sharks, snails, and cat themed stuffed animals to the other dorms! You can even just gift them to people you see.

There's a new store where you can get merchandise of all the heroes! I might head that way to see what they have.

Oh yeah, before I forget...I should give you those tasks, huh?

1. Go to the store and buy merch of your favorite hero! I heard they have some new ones there now. I wonder if it's all of you?
2. I really want to try crepes some day. Maybe we could try making them or buying them some where?
3. Play King's Game! I think this one Hanabi might actually enjoy. Maybe we should get a lot of people together to play?
4. Come up with other rodents! I know about Capybaras, Hamus, and Bears. What else counts as a mouse?

w4 tuesday morning - team meeting

[ early tuesday morning, datz will text the team to meet in the secret mouse room and get down to business. ]

So... a couple of us got wind of another weird note the other day. Tried looking into it to see if we could verify that it was actually true, and maybe answer some related questions, but we haven't had much luck with that, so... figured we should get it out there now anyway.

[ he will again pass around a note he's copied down on a piece of notebook paper: ]

During these 8 weeks, if each of these teams does not act as a villain on Thursday night, there will be no way back home for any of them. The moon requires energy, and so does transporting people elsewhere.

...Obviously our team's already all set on that front if this is for real, so we don't have to worry about it — but that also means that if these murders are gonna keep happening, our team shouldn't be adding to them.

The other important point... we really need to find out who was behind Satan and the captain's murders so the other teams can know if they can cross themselves off the list already too, so they're not going out and unknowingly killing a second person when their team was already covered. So if you find anything out about either of those, you can either tell me so I can communicate it to someone I trust on that person's team, or you can tell that team directly. We don't need to know exactly who it was, just what team they were on.

Again, we don't know exactly how reliable this is, so we're not telling teams that haven't had a convicted killer yet that they should go out and do something crazy... just that for the teams who have already killed, they definitely don't need to do it again. Each team's got at least one person aware of this so they can share or not share with their own group however they see fit.

Also, I ordered a home karaoke machine on Amazoom this morning.

...I know who killed who each week. There's overlaps, so the teams that have done the deed are still just Mouse, Ox, Tiger, and Snake.

[ Just half the teams, and only so many weeks left. Wonder if it'd count if four people stabbed somebody at the same time, that's still being a villain, right? Good luck minimizing casualties... ]

I got a bit busy, but just like everyone else, I came out with something on Thursday.

Shaping and changing the world around us is but child's play with a stroke of the pen. An event in the city that made the news can be changed or written out of existence, and the truth shall bend with it. The masses will believe that it was always like that. Wonder what else can the pages of this book do? The light of the moon shall shine and uncover the depths of its abilities.

...Were either of you able to figure out what the jumbled letters were on the papers on Friday? Or if it means anything at all. I went through both Caesar and ROT combinations but I couldn't put together anything that made sense.

I'll keep trying. This paper, though... that ability sounds like the one School Mystery Number 4 has: "shaking and changing the world around us" ... "with a stroke of the pen". The longer we stay here in this fake world, the harder it will be to escape.
