Temenos, who Patamon has decided is fine to walk, actually, is brought to the mouth of the cave. Looking inside, it's not very deep, except for the part where some rocks must have shifted, because there's a passageway further in. There's an unused torch on the wall, but surely somebody here has a fire they could spare.
Everyone else can catch up to Temenos before he goes through the hole in the wall. ]
[ it's easier to ignore vane than it is the two cute critters so UGH FINE he will let himself be bandaged real quick before catching up to temenos to see the cave!!!! ]
anyway!! patamon is his favorite ever because he's just steadfastly ignoring how much his arm hurts in favor of the search for knowledge. he doesn't have a free hand for the torch, but he gestures at it. ]

[ this is mostly at ace's cute critter so we can have fire. this is where i'd put my holy light if i HAD ONE. otherwise, temenos will clamber through this hole and into the cave, looking around to ensure they're not going to get immediately jumped by any monsters and keeping an eye on patamon for now.
just to be sure, there's a shallow cave with what looks like a new passageway? anything exciting in the shallow cave? bc if not we're going down the passageway. ]

The cave is shallow, normally, besides the passageway. There's not much here besides the usual things you'd see in a cave. Rocks. Walls. More rocks. A pebble if you want something to throw.
As Temenos clambers through the passageway (and if he has a light), he'll see a few cave paintings on the walls. Something like a large bird, an armored tiger, a two headed turtle, and an eastern dragon surround a dragon.
On the other side, a cave painting of human in front of the shrine they woke up next to.
Between the two walls are a massive set of stone doors. ]
[ oh of course he's gonna look at cave paintings. this is deja vu. he reaches down to pat gabumon on the head in thanks and goes to investigate the animal ones first, leaning on the stand. are any of these creatures interacting? or are they just individual? are they big or small... ]
These look a bit like you did. [ to patamon. if they are small.. and can get large... it passes maybe they can get this large. he's suddenly thinking of ochette and her missive - guardians, protectors, things of that like, and of the kal people, all at once. ] Some sort of ancient version...?
[ and he'll check out the shrine when vane asks it, too. is there any way to tell if its like. big human? little human? or is it just Human. do the paintings continue to the door or is it just these individual ones. ]
...Curious. I suppose that's why we found ourselves here, too. Perhaps a shrine to worship them...?
