Loppy does their best, but misses. They seem to be undetected by the dragon though, so there's something!

But there’s no denying he’s in pain — a great deal of it. His ribs ache and he finally registers after taking a deep breath that few are definitely broken.

[ there's an equally concerned shout from temenos, immediately - there is something awful and familiar about seeing vane slumped into a corner like that, and temenos's stomach churns at the sight of it.
it's enough of a distraction that it catches him when he's trying to hurry for one of those colorful spots, and he nearly whirls around to try and stop it before he remembers that he's lacking his abilities. his light magic, his healing. and there's a certain sense of helplessness, and that voice from before nearly taunts, somewhere in the back of temenos's mind. (too little, too late.) no healing. nothing to be done.
which means that he's more or less unguarded and i rolled a four.

Still, he's knocked into one of those different colored spots (blue). The dragon gets pelted by ice. ]
[ so ace has like, really stupid high pain tolerance. i mean "cleansed in a pot of boiling water and doesn't scream" pain tolerance. i love one piece it's not stupid at all.
anyway, that means it's still not a scream as he gets his face mauled, just a very loud pained grunt as he holds his face. he has no idea the state of it right now but there's blood all over and his vision is obscured, and he's trying not to think about it. there is more important things to think about while he stands there and bleeds: ]

[ getting hit with a (redacted digimon number) pounds of wolf is a lot for a tiny twink. temenos grunts at the impact, hitting the ground in a pile with garurumon - it agitates his arm injury enough that it's rattling, and he wheezes with the wind knocked out of him, seeing stars. his-semi better arm (yikes) comes up and he pats at garurumon the best he can. trying to help him up and also bleeding, ribs aching, body aching, head hurting from where it connects with the ground. he is just a twink and that is a lot of digimon.
but when the spot lights up, its familiar. scholar class; blizzard.
unfortunately that hit knocked it out of him, and temenos is dizzy and breathing hard, unable to quite grasp all the correct words to activate it in a way that aims but he'll send out a sheet of ice in the general direction of the dragon as he struggles to his feet again.

Ace is not nearly as lucky. The claw swipes for his side. Garurumon gets up, giving Temenos a brief apology, making sure that he can stand up, before blowing another blast of fire at the chest. Slowly, hairline cracks begin to form on the jewel there.
The ice spell does it's job, temporarily keeping three of the dragon's limbs on the ground.
Looking around he sees one yellow and one pure white closest to him, a red and green further away.
Angemon decides their time is better served keeping Temenos from getting hit again, and moves to try and cover him. "What did you find?"]
Just keep attacking, alright? While it's stuck! Just keep at it!

[ oh my gods okay well. temenos doesn't get hit because of angemon which is good because we're on like 100 hp at this point, bloodied and beaten, but the ice nails down the dragon's limbs and temenos sees opportunity. keep attacking. keep attacking. he has also been bleeding for a ridiculously long time. we're doing great. ]
I'm alright. [ he. kind of wheezes, but he puts his hand on angemon, firm, like a bolster. ] And so are you. Not much longer - you can do it, mm? Strike...strike it down.
[ i FINALLY ROLLED OKAY. it takes a herculean amount of effort to run and it agitates every single injury he already has, but temenos hisses, ] Hold on. [ and takes off past the blue ice circle spot, and absolutely guns it for that white one and practically throwing himself at it.
[ With the way it's limbs are frozen over, it shudders with cold. It misses Ace by just a few centimeters as the claw comes down. Garurumon barely manages to get another hit into its jewel, the fractures getting just a little worse.
"You as well, Temenos." Stay strong, stay up.
Angemon takes the swish of the tail for Temenos, ensuring that he's safe from anything else that may come his way. They even manage to grab the tail before it can hit anyone else.
Temenos's instincts pay off. This circle is indeed a holy light that beams down from above. Straight into the dragon's back and piercing through the scales.

temenos watches angemon hop onto the tail - he's open, now, but he is on this circle and by gods he's going to use it. will it work more than once? it's time to find out. the motions are so familiar, and the pull of magic is one he's known since he was a toddler, and he keeps his hands on the circle and presses to it again, mouth moving in a prayer. the spell was so similar to a luminescence, a radiance that he reaches for it again. big impact. big damage. just like home.
Holy light, illuminate the darkness. let this dragon feel the wrath of the sacred flame. ]
The bandage does not grant Temenos a full heal, there's too much wrong with him to even attempt that. His wounds begin to close, but that's the extent that it can give. The scratch on his hand is fully healed.
The ice doesn't hold any longer. The creatures limbs break out of the freeze and wildly swiping in every direction. Garurumon barely manages to not get hit as they claw against the jewel.
Ace doesn't get hit at all, now that it's in a frenzy. He's so good at dodging. (Proof required.)
Loppy takes his hand knife and drives it true, straight into the center jewel.
Angemon, "Excellent work, Temenos!" Is all they can manage to say, before they reenact the Vane scene and get thrown somewhere into the darkness.
