Have you gotten to spend time with some of the others? I sent Nimona your way, fairly recently; I hope you've gotten the chance to talk to Rita, as well. She's quite clever.

Yes. I spoke to both of them last week. Nimona was eating cereal in the grocery store, and Rita accompanied me on my grocery run.

Rita has aided me quite a bit in working towards solving our overall goals here - I thought the two of you might get along well. And Nimona... [ a very light sigh. ] A wayward lamb, that one. I worry.

Yes: the sort who has strayed far from a path, and needs a bit of shepherding in the right direction. I know she's had quite a bit of trouble with you all, Tiger in particular.

I understand that we're difficult to trust, considering we've been here for months. It's reasonable to assume we must be hiding something from you.

Tiger is having a difficult time, from what I've seen.

[ snake is the only valid one because SOME PEOPLE are TOO TOUCHY and this does not offend his delicate catholic sensibilities. they are allowed to lean against his shoulder, enough that he subtly leans back. ]

Mm. I asked them about it, and leadership, and they said they have no talents besides following orders. [ which is not a good sign, ] So. I pray for their team, though I pray for them as a whole.

Hm... I don't have much experience with being a leader either. It's a new skill. Generally I worked alone.

Tiger probably needs companionship. [ Looks at Tiger's team and mentally thinks "yikes." ]

Hmm. Yes, that's likely. [ re: companionship ] I told him that he shouldn't overcompensate. Skills are meant to be learned, and trying to imitate something you aren't never ends well for anyone; surely, if i were like the inquisitor who came before me, you'd hardly recognize me.

Perhaps it is a symptom of the type of team they've gathered. I ought to reach out to them, I suppose - if nothing else, perhaps I can be a listening ear...

They'd likely appreciate it, even if they don't say so directly. Their team seems like a lot of solitary individuals.

What are your hobbies? Mine is brewing coffee and trying different combinations. [ It can't possibly count as coffee anymore when they're making it. ]

Hmm. Really, solving mysteries is the hobby. I enjoy drawing, and I like to read.

Mysteries feel like they're part of the job.

I draw occasionally, and I enjoy learning about different myths and legends.
