We didn't realize it was falling at first, if that makes sense? Like, in hindsight it was totally falling, we just didn't realize that until it was too late.

If that's really the only drawback I'm not seeing an entire downside to having something familiar. [ but. you know. ]

[ he supposes being a tiger could be a downside. he doesn't entirely understand how much it works, but he figures if tiger controls their powers well enough by now at least it is, again, something familiar. a better advantage than most of them, but he remains impassive as he listens to them continue. ]

Sounds like your powers aren't sure what they do and don't want to do. [ concerning... ] Do you know what causes the control to slip like that? Maybe there's something we can do to change the conditions and make it less likely to happen.
Back home before I got better control, it was emotions. Once I was better at staying calm and not letting my emotions get the better of me, the unintended transformations stopped.
[They look down at the palm of their hand as they flex their fingers.]

Do you know how you actually tap into it here? Will's powers are activated in a similar way back home. I think Danny and Nimona's are, too.

[ he's just eyeballing the claws and he has an urge to poke them but he decides that's inappropriate and weird. ] And then re-focusing on making yourself more human-shaped is the same thing, I presume. That comes in handy, but...I can also see how it'd be easy for control to slip sometimes. If you're not really focusing, I mean. It's a lot of mental willpower.

She might not be struggling because it's not actually the same power, Tiger. They might look the same on the surface, but I don't think they really are. [ this isn't said unkindly, but more like something he's thought about. ]

I should say it's mostly the same but still a little different. The healing is a bit trickier than normal because I have to be eating stuff to do it.
[At that last question though, they go a bit awkward and rub at their neck, which is currently covered in a turtleneck.]
