I'm not really an artist so I don't get how she can just come up with this stuff, but it's always a little impressive.

...I hope so. It...I haven't really said to everyone who helped how important it was to me that we got this done. I only brought up the idea. Hung did most of the building, and then Nimona did the paintings and Datz helped with the plants and...yeah. Knowing that they can see us really did help a lot. It means our efforts are still able to be sent to them.
I think if people got upset about that kind of thing that says more about them than you. I'm almost surprised more of your art isn't on display in your dorm. That's your space. [ fox should simply do whatever they want.

It's not so much that I'm keeping it a secret or anything. I just haven't gotten to it? [ ... ] A lot of the time I realize later there are things I just haven't said and by the time I think about it it doesn't feel like it matters. The job's done, and everyone feels good about it. Nobody needs to know that I've found it entirely unfair that this city keeps judging our friends on a scale of good versus evil when a lot of us are just victims of circumstance.
Mm, maybe, but I'd rather everyone be happy than make anybody mad or something. [ they shift in what is probably a shrug? it's hard to tell when they're made of paint. ] I didn't want to make anyone too claustrophobic with it. My work has a certain vibe that doesn't always work with the dorm, you know? And it's my team's space, too, so I wanted to leave plenty of room to find things that they wanted on the walls - like our photo!

I get that, but there are a lot of people here who would say it does matter. It's okay even if it's all done and built already, they'll still care that you care.

I guess if you want to be really considerate and whatever, sure. That's a way to do it. I think with us we tend to stick to our own space no matter what except I'm adding Halloween decorations everywhere to see how long it takes for people to notice. The team photo is cute though.

As for my work, it's pretty traditional. It's pretty and I love it, don't get me wrong, but not everyone appreciates that kind of thing or wants to be surrounded by it, and I totally understand. So I keep that to my own room.
...It's really exciting. And then they'd get to see everything you've done for them firsthand, too. It's a huge relief.

I'd say, sure, I'm happy to show you! Because asking is different than decorating an entire dorm for someone else who might not like it.
Yeah, it's a good compromise for the time being. [ ... ] I don't know. I think... I'm a little scared to ignore it entirely, but I'm scared to keep going, too. You know my team still hasn't fulfilled the quota, right? So...
[ he's scared that not doing it will ruin things for everyone. but killing means putting their own in danger, and he doesn't want that, either. ]
[ he nods along and he's about to say "show me now?" because he's curious, but then fox mentions that very key detail and his expression peters out to something more solemn and worried. ]
...believe me, Fox, I've been thinking of nothing but that little fact. [ considering. who is on fox's team. ] I don't like that it has to be done, but...we still haven't found another solution. We have a few days until Thursday but...[ a pause. ] I'm scared for your team, too, I guess.
That doesn't surprise me. We talked about it last week before we pulled off ours, too. [ he doesn't seem to mind mentioning it, especially since it was clear lillium killed albedo. ] It helps a little to know they aren't going in blind, but...I don't know. It still just feels bad that we don't even know why we really have to do this, or any sort of confirmation it's going to help. It's not fair to you guys either.
I know I'm not saying anything you haven't already thought of, I'm just....frustrated that I can't do anything except throw a huge Halloween party so that we have at least one good event to make some final memories for some people.
