No, no, the leaders were here before the rest of you. There was no competition then, we were just being heroes and helping the city. The other four died, they didn't get sent home.

...what were you told about getting out of here, when you first showed up? And who were the other four?

Nothing. We weren't told anything when we first arrived. We just got dumped in this world and had to figure out things on our own.

The other four were our teammates, there were twelve of us at first.

Everyone has their own reasons for it. You will have to ask them all to get their answers.

For me, I found it easier to gather information on this world while working in the name of 'good'. Also, being the good guy for once was a nice change of pace.

Not that that approach worked all that well, if you've been here for months with no answers still about who brought us all here in the first place.

I...really don't know. I've been here for several months and still have my powers though?

Well, they're similar to my powers before, but they changed somewhat too. I didn't use a power to instill fear in people previously, for example.

You used to instill fear just by your demeanor alone and now you need a superpower to do it?

Not really? I wasn't THAT scary of a person. It was more...rumors, I suppose.

Just rumors. My power isn't one usually associated with heroes, so it caused trouble.

Think of it this way: If someone's power is to raise the dead and use them to fight for them as an undead army, can that power ever be considered heroic?

...I think the premise of the question is stupid. Who cares what's heroic or not? Who cares what other people think of what you're doing? Their opinions only matter if you let them.
