[ he's sitting on the kitchen counter in the dorm, a cup of tea next to him as he munches on a croissant. ] Morning~! Are you hungry? I brought extras! [ there's a whole box on the counter next to the candy bowl! ]

Week 3, Tuesday

[The fifth floor is where the living spaces begin. This is where the main living spaces are: a large living/entertainment room takes up most of the floor, with large one-way windows lining the walls and letting plenty of natural light in (though there are screens that can be drawn to block out some of the light). Everything here is luxurious and expensive: leather furniture, throw rugs, pieces of artwork hung up, you name it. Everything is in shades of white, black, and grey, giving the room a neutral look. There is one thing that doesn't match the aesthetics though: a large cat tower can be found in one of the corners, as well as three cats: an orange tabby, a tuxedo cat, and an all-white cat. There is also a basket of cat toys on the floor by the cat tower. Other cat things- beds, a litterbox, and so on- are found throughout the common areas of the dorms.

The kitchen and dining room are similarly monotone and high-quality, with stainless steel appliances and plenty of storage space for food. The open floorplan of this floor means that there's no real walls between rooms either, and you can see through most of the floor from any point in it. There is also a staircase winding its way around the outside of the elevator, leading up to the next floor.

- Anne for the ginger tabby
- Gatsby for the tuxedo cat
- Shirayuki for the white cat

[Well it's not hard to catch up to them, Tiger has only just gotten to the dorm when Vane arrives.

For a moment when the door opens Tiger has their perfectly canned smile on his face, the same one he uses when they talk to people in public and 90% of the time in private. But then they see it's Vane and sigh before settling into a more relaxed look. It's not a smile, but it's more genuine than their smiles have ever been.]

Hey. Come to see the cats again?

[They're half-joking with that.]

[ Vane's definitely not better at masking his feelings; his expression is sullen, a mix of anger and genuine sadness. As well as the deep sensation of guilt -- ]

Yeah. [ He nods his head, lips curled into a frown. ] I came to see you, too...

This was a really bad day.

Week 3, Saturday

[ he's, like, melted onto the living room couch to stare at the ceiling when vane comes back to the dorms, but kazunari gets up quickly. ] Hey, it sounded like things went really bad. Are you okay?

It went bad. [ He exaggerates, exhausted. He'll come over to sit on the cough beside him. ] I'm fine, yeah, just... this whole thing is so messed up.
