anyway, tama doesn’t trust this guy not to wander off so she’s just going to push the door open and peer into the bathroom directly— she should be able to keep an eye on this teacher like this, and have a chat with the bathroom lurkers this way.
Well, this may be a real good reason why he's sitting up against the door. If he can just keep this up for three more minutes, chaos will have been averted.

[The teacher is going to try and open the door and peek into the hall to see where Axel and Tama are, except he can't because Axel is sitting against the door. Axel can hear a "what the..." from inside the room as the door tries to push open but is blocked by his body.
Meanwhile, the pink-haired girl is going to be a little rude to Tama.]
"We're fine, go narc on someone else!"
[The teacher lets out a soft chuckle in response to that.]
It sounds like it's no issue. I won't say anything about them or you this time, just be sure to go back before the end of class.

[Aaaaaand then a green-haired girl is yelling to the teacher that there is a fire in a trashcan. That has his attention now, he's hurrying in that direction.]
[Axel is still sitting there, but now he will hear the other adult in the room come over to try the door. She doesn't mess with the door too much, and then she says "It's jammed! You got a phone, don't you? Call someone!" and then pauses for a moment before adding "sir".]
Aaaanyway, jokes aside, he's keeping an ear on out, and sure ain't going to be moving his bum anywheres. Seems like the class has got some real quirky ones, though. ]
[Amazingly, this plan works. The teachers are separated when the time draws near, and whatever would have caused the attack does not happen.
Instead the whole class is stuck in the classroom after school for 30 minutes while the custodian fixes the door. But hey, it's a small price to pay for preventing a murder! Good job!]
