I still kinda think clearing the building is our best bet, I just can’t figure out how. Do we wear balaclavas and start a literal blaze?
[ it’s a thought at least? no one will be going into the building for a while and the bomb would probably explode in the flames so no worries about that being left behind. but it could cause more damage if people were hanging around outside the bomb blew… ]
How fast am I gonna get kicked out of this place if I start climbing the pillars….
[ can she see the pillars from a higher floor? is there a chance she might spot a bomb now she knows she’s looking for one if she tried…? ]
[There is no higher floor, it's a 1-story mall with high ceilings. What Tama will see, however, is that there are several trash cans, benches, and tables by the various pillars.
There's no windows here because it's a food court, the eight walls of this octagon are full of food places. Two sides has hallways that goes further into the mall, and there is also a set of doors that goes outside.no windows that open are close enough to be of use.]
[ No wonder it's a perfect place for explosions deluxe.
No windows that can be opened. But if there are maybe some at all...no, he'd probably need to throw something at any windows outside of the food court. That might take awhile. Hrmm... ]
Pulling a fire alarm really might be our best bet. People are gonna naturally make a break for it, even if there's no fire around, and we'll have time before fire trucks arrive. Kinda hard for us to set an actual fire, I'd think.
[ Still thinking about the possible roll-it-out bomb plan. ]
Even harder to know how to deal with the bomb when we don't know what kind it is. But, I'd like to think there'd probably be a countdown, you know? So whoever's putting it doesn't blow up with it.
...We could always throw it into a nearby bathroom if we don't think we could get it out of the mall fast enough.
[ what kind of mall has no open windows throws phone (a number of them actually) ]
Yeah, but I don't know when the bomb'll blow. We could clear the whole mall, the alarm could be fixed, the whole building could be cleared and people come back in and then -- boom! [ she throws her empty drink cup and it smacks into one of the bins. ] No more mall.
... [ actually if she peeks in the bins like a dumpster diver, is there anything suspicious in any of them? did someone hide a bomb in a bin near one of the pillars? ]
Maybe there's a digital clock or something we can spot...
[On Wednesday there is nothing suspicious in any of the trash cans. It's a good idea to check, but the trash is dumped every night.
If Axel wants to roll it out though, the different restaurants have these kinds of things which you can put a trash can on and wheel them around. He can even see them clear out the trash with one: they have a big can on one of those and grab the trash bags from the various smaller cans and use the wheels to push all the trash out to the dumpster.]
...Yeah, you've got a point there. There's only one solution I think. We'd have to roll the bomb out somewhere people haven't gone to or won't, and then maybe hurl it as far out as we could.
[ That's what he thinks, anyway. ]
Speaking of which, there's kind of like things around to roll stuff here or there, by the way. Probably for when somebody's transporting trash out.
We can probably use it to move the bomb around or something. Maybe even to the dumpster. Nobody's gonna want to crowd around there.
[ He will gesture to those objects in particular, by the by. ]
Doesn’t solve the issue of finding the stupid thing— but if it’s not already planted it’ll be around here. We can keep coming back and checking in, and if we see anything suspicious we can act.
[ she’s counting off on her fingers: ]
Find the bomb; move it away from the densely populated areas, maybe to a dumpster or something; set off the fire alarm to get people away from the mall.
[ holds up her hand for a high five so they can be awkwardly stuck together for half an hour trying to finish lunch and scope out the area for literal bombs.
[lol yeah enjoy being stuck together. Everyone else will assume it's a cute couple holding hands.
They can check for a few days but Saturday is the day. When they check the trash can, they find a suspicious package inside it. It's way too big for what is normally thrown away in these cans.]
[ Honestly Axel would have returned the high five, so hecking crying that is exactly what happens.
At least they manage to find something on Saturday, though. His mind goes into panic mode and he knows what he's doing, he's getting one of those rolly things to put the sus package on top of it. ]
You get the fire alarm, I got the package, got it??
[ He said 'got' twice and yes that is him panicking, but hey he is going to aim for going towards the dumpsters, it's fine. ]
[The two closest restaurants to that trash can are a beef bowl place and Taco Baco. Actually, with that 13 that Tama totally rolled first, she can glance up and see that there's a small something on top of the T at the Taco Baco. Hm. But also the fire alarm is on a wall near the restrooms.
Axel with his 1 is not going to see anyone in his way, and he can grab a worker jacket and the rolly thing. The people are still there, and they're giving Axel a weird look and going "sir?" but he does not see them. He's too focused on the task at hand.]
[ things said moments before a disaster. okay— can she see what’s on that T? like… if she gets close and squints really hard to see if she can make out what it is? ]
[ she’s willing to root through the trash if she has to. let’s go.
otherwise— if she doesn’t find anything, she’ll get started on setting off a fire alarm. she has a plan in mind for that too, at least, so it shouldn’t take too long to act on it. ]
[It's up to Axel tbh, The bomb has been placed and he can run away or go back into the mall.
Digging through the trash! She finds a second bomb. Which makes sense, one bomb at one pillar wouldn't have been enough to send the whole place crashing down.
But almost as soon as she finds the bomb, a woman comes by and shoves a shake into Tama's hands.]
"Aw, you don't have to dig in there for food! Here, I just bought this for you. No need to thank me!"

Me editing ages later, but there are no windows to throw a bomb out. However, there are plenty of doors they can open and yeet a bom through.]

[ No windows, huh? Is it because they're like huge glass ones that can't be opened or just no windows at all? ]
