Rabbit Dorm's first floor looks closer to a hotel lobby. There's white pillars, fresh plants, and yellow chairs around. The lights around bathe the area in a warm, yellow light. Terrible for pictures, but inviting and looking classy all the same. There's a security desk and the elevator at the back of the room where one needs to scan in their id to use.

The second floor opens up to a large communal space with floor to ceiling window and sheer curtains to provide some measure of privacy. Luxury couches missing their legs sit on the floor in an u-shape. There’s yoga mats and a set of weights tucked in a corner in case anyone wants a work-out. A large and fully stocked bar and mahjong table separate the couches from the kitchen area. The kitchen itself is all white quartz and light blue cabinets. There’s touches of yellow here and there in the decor and the fresh flowers in glass vases. There’s a small bathroom here and then a set of stairs that continue on to the next floor.

The third floor has a sitting area devoid of any electronics but looking fancy with the bunny shaped chairs and fluffy rugs. Doors line the side of the room that lead off to three different bedrooms with attached bathrooms and large closets. There are two full sized beds in each room with a desk and a curtain between them. While the bathrooms are missing an actual tub, they have a large shower to make up for it.

The last door will take them to a set of stairs that will go to the fourth floor, which is locked and continue past to the secret room.

As they enter the dorm for the first time, heroes will find they have a new notification from the AMAZOOM app:

Congrats! You've received a new perk from Yellow Rabbit.

As your team leader, Yellow Rabbit is able to share one of three new powers with you:

Powers have been randomly assigned, but you may find the opportunity to choose a different power at a later date.

After reading the notification, heroes will feel a new power welling up within them, and with it, the inherent knowledge that they can only use this ability once each week. They may want to use it carefully.

There is a sign at the door that says it's a secret! Opening the doors will reveal an archway and rooftop garden. There's potted plum blossom trees, bamboo, and Japanese maples that line a winding pathway that goes around a pond and through a gazebo. The gazebo is large enough to house a small table and floor cushions for a small number of people to sit and enjoy the space. The pond itself has lily pads and lotus. Chrysanthemums, magnolias, irises, hibiscus and peonies can be found growing in beds with solar powered flower lights. At night, the place has a different vibe with fake flowers aglow, lit candles floating in the water, and a string of fairy lights hanging in the tree.

Once in a while, Yellow Rabbit can be found in the gazebo enjoying a drink.

Please be sure to keep this room a secret from the other teams! You can invite others over to visit, but do not let them into the private room or describe it for them.

Anyway, starts to pace a little. An irritated look flashes across his face. ]

...Maybe. But, seriously? "During these 8 weeks, if each of these teams does not act as a villain on Thursday night, there will be no way back home for any of them. The moon requires energy, and so does transporting people elsewhere."

I'm noticing a theme.

[ Axel calms a little and stops pacing.

Then he takes out a little notebook showing what's already been written down:

'The stakes so far have been too boring. It’s no fun when all they do at the end of the day is go home, so for the next round, we’ll spice it up a bit. If they want a chance for anyone to return at all, they’ll have to take that chance from someone else.

One death each week is enough to keep the door open. Kill, or lose everything any of them have cared about. Let’s see how heroic they can be in those conditions.'

And then:

'These heroes are unable to return to the worlds they call home while they have yet to win their competition. If a team loses, all those within the team, present and future, those worlds they hail from will come under the light of the moon. Those worlds will be forever changed with the loss of the heroes hailing from them. There is nothing better than a hero under distress.

By winning they will be putting their companions here at risk. By losing, their homes will be rewritten to be completely different, erasing their place within it. A dire situation indeed. A benefit no matter the outcome.'

He also has the following note written:

'If any one of these teams would be entirely wiped, those teams will become part of this world. Every member will believe they have always lived in this world, forgetting where they hail from. They'll become citizens who will be powerless and clueless during the next cycle.' ]

They're all basically saying the same kinda thing, with some added stuff.

Well done, Axel. I see you've been thorough on your detective work?

[ you can have a little praise. he's having a bad day maybe watching axel be a weirdo will make him feel better.

his smile's genuine though, but he pulls out his own notebook to compare their notes, taking the new one and setting it down so he can copy it into his own. ]

Yes. Perhaps they're all from the same document - they make their message quite clear, don't they? Make us suffer and hurt.

[ a tilt of his head. ]

...Though. With this knowledge compared with what you and I discussed the other day - [ temenos reaches out and taps the notebook above the note about being entirely wiped ] - perhaps we can game this system a bit.

[ he starts to look very, very thoughtful. temenos has always been like a dog with a bone when you get him onto a problem, and this is no exception - eyes lighting up a little with the potential of solution laid out in front of him. ]

We can remove... Gold Mouse, certainly, has done enough. White Tiger. Amethyst Snake, and... [ ahh. ] ...I wonder what that means for us. Yae Miko was, as I have learned, likely the aggressor of hers, though... I suppose she didn't survive, so it may not count. And that means its even more important that we uncover who attacked Satan.

Still, with those three out of the way, that leaves five - potentially four, if we've no repeat. Ourselves, Goat, Fox, Ox, Phoenix. And, additionally, it means teams with higher numbers or complete teams ought to be struck first - and, if what we understand to be true is correct, then them dying, while... certainly unpleasant, is by no means permanent.

[ don't just call it unpleasant people are dying ]

With the proper communication, we could lower ourselves to meet the bare minimum - one death per week. Perhaps two, once, but otherwise... A bit of a gamble, certainly. But doable.

Yeah, I have.

[ Axel looks extraordinarily proud of himself, and then there is all that...which, well. Temenos gets to watch in real time how quickly the red head's expression turns to something else entirely, like, just completely unreadable as he goes down the list so easily.

Then, after that, there's kind of a large block of silence on his end to which he doesn't look happy about it at all. ]

...Doable? What's doable is putting an end to this before anybody else winds up dead.

[inquired]

[ he's quiet for a moment, watching this reaction. ]

I don't disagree. [ like. it would be so nice. please. he is not a fan of murder. ] Nor do I believe most of our group would, either. As a whole, they are well intentioned.

[ and like, anti murder. ] ...But I worry that the path ahead of us may not allow us that luxury so quickly, Axel.

[ Why can't they just sit back and have the others take each other out instead?

After all, people really could get so easily hopping mad at each other. Heh, that's not a great thought either, though.

It's just, he thought...this sort of thing was behind him. And how do they know it won't stick? But, Axel decides to play it off as cool and casual instead, giving a snort. ]

...Right, right. So, we basically all agree to maybe sit around in a circle or something, and then some person picks another person at random, right? Then, we play at solving a murder, and everything is peachy until our numbers get whittled down enough?

More or less. It would be... depending on the killer we've yet to catch, it would either be four or five more.

[ it doesn't sit that well with temenos, either - and he knows axel well enough to tell when he's playing it off, by this point. the missing feeling of his magic squirms around in his ribcage again, uncomfortable and unpleasant, and he folds his arms, though it's at the situation, mouth pulled into that same, thoughtful frown. ]

...Or, I suppose, people could volunteer. [ ... ] I'll admit, it sits the most poorly with me that we'd be asked to provide this power through violence, for a chance that it could be used against us, and not for. It is imperative we unravel this mystery for a variety of reasons.

Not only that, but I've no understanding of how this power even begins to work, and the caveats, loopholes, or drawbacks inevitably we will have to avoid. It is shaky at best.

[ so he is just as much of a skeptic about this, too. ]

[ After a moment of digesting everything, Axel goes quiet again, and then huffs out a little laugh.

There is the reminder that it feels just like the Organization again. Including the moon powering aspect. Though he thinks this is a coincidence, he doesn't like it. ]

Right.

Well, I'll take it to be something that's...like, an idea to be considered or something. But, I don't think I'll have the heart to personally carry out a murder.

Unless someone tried to kill me. Then, all bets are off.

[ Axel laughs again, like he's trying to play a joke, but it's not working. At least he seems to understand on a certain (important) level that it isn't like Temenos presented the idea for funsies or out of a sense of eagerness. Though Axel wonders if his own personal bias is playing into it as well, that he's not...well, reacting worse off because it's him who suggested it. ]

[ Axel has nothing to say at the moment, though he feels the gaze, enough to take a glance on over. ]

[ it's funny, if only because this is about the answer he's expecting. temenos, arms folded, glances up at him. ]

If someone tried to kill you, then I would expect you to survive. [ don't make us 0/2 axel that'd be awful. anyway he just says this as if this is something that can be controlled? like it's a guaranteed fact. like you have to live.

...but. after a moment, his usual smile returns, gentle. ]

We'll discuss it at a later time, but I wouldn't worry too much about the mechanics of it all. Kogitsunemaru and I can handle the later details. [ it unfortunately won't be the first time for temenos though the context is far different. he does glance over to kogitsunemaru when he says it, briefly, but shakes his head. later. ]

For now, it's imperative that we get this information shared out to the others, so that we may be able to do just that. So long as we believe in its source, of course; it isn't as if these things are always verifiable.

[ At that, Axel raises a hand to rub at the back of his neck sheepishly, but those words are...something.

Right, just because it feels like the Organization, doesn't mean it is. He's no longer any kind of Fixer in that regard. And no need to worry Tem, and surprisingly he finds it within himself to let out a soft huff as he answers: ]

You bet I would.

[ Axel kind of wants to ask about the later details, though he just leaves it, figuring that can definitely be broached as time goes on. After a moment, the red head's expression eases a little and he blinks, seeming to think a bit more, his focus returning. ]

Well, I don't think there's no reason not to spread this around. Even if it isn't verifiable, just by people looking at these notes, everyone can start to figure, 'Oh so there IS some guy doing whatever the hell he likes, and he's been planning this for a long time now!'

And they get to see how thoughtful he's been at this.

I suppose we shall need some sort of strategy to make sure things occur without fail.

What we need is to be in communication with the others as much as possible to orchestrate this correctly. I've contacts on the majority of the other teams, but I have an idea of someone who might be able to pass it along to eliminate many of the middle men.

The teams that are the most likely to be targeted ought to be the ones with the majority of their members still currently intact.

[ he flips his notebook back a few pages, to a list of teams and players, with names neatly crossed off for victims the dead. ]

And those would be Snake, Ox, Phoenix, and Fox. Barring Snake, three of those teams have yet to kill - unless of course, our mystery killer was on one of those teams. Ours and Goat also need to perform the act, but we have fewer members, and to a clever plan, it would be much easier to allow these teams to take care of each other first.

Putting aside if you can trust them for a moment... why not cut out the middleman entirely and have a meeting with everyone? Someone might have more of these that you haven't seen.

I'm sure that our dear Moonshaded organizers would be delighted to overhear us all talking boldly about how we would game their system.

Besides. I don't know our cadre nearly well enough to assume their intentions.

Perhaps though people we trust at first. We may have differing ideas on how to play this out but having all the information we can will do much to ease the way.

The moon light is weakest during the day. If we are up against some Moonshaded Organizers or the Moon itself, then that would be time to do it.

And why not just disseminate information team by team? Why a public affair? If you are all so insistent on us working together within our teams, as our tasks seem to indicate, then moving as a group seems like creating an awfully large target.
