Normally I have really good control of them, but they've been off this week. They respond to my emotions more than they should. You saw Snake last week, right? That's what happens if I lose control of the tiger, but I have so much training that it shouldn't be a problem.

For the record, I wasn't even going to apologize that night. Originally I was just going to drop off the cat and wait a bit because I had to take it back with me before the guards found it. And I haven't spoken to her since then because I told her I would wait for her to approach me to have that conversation. It's been a month since then, that's not on me.

I know you're limited in what you can say, due to your role and everything. But if people give you grief over it, you can tell them I "gave you permission to kill". As long as you don't say it's from a role, and instead imply it's just conversations we had, it should be in accordance with the role rules.
[They can't do much to protect Danny, and they are too emotionally constipated to adequately say how much they care for Danny. But this is the least they can do.]
Some won't. But others will. 'People' aren't a monolith, they will all have their own opinions. I can't give forgiveness in this situation, but at the very least I wouldn't ever hold your actions against you.
