[Ox can be found at the dorms! They are making themselves lunch in the kitchen, it appears to be rice and curry. When they see Rita they will wave her over.]
[ RE: "I overheard you say something about them coming up with a way to negate our powers. What do you know about that?" ]
Oh, that... Not a ton, TBH. I'm not the most tech-inclined person, so I don't know exactly how they did it. But I know they put a lot of research into it for subduing villains, and I've seen it work on them. There's no reason to think it won't work on us, too.
Even if you don't know how they developed it or how it works, do you know how they're applying it? If they're not complete idiots, they must be using it at the jail, right?
[Rita is going to catch Ox adding some things to Hung's whiteboard. When Rita enters they are quick to put the marker back and act like they were doing nothing though.]
[Hello Rita, you get to see Ox fretting and being overly caring to people. It's mostly focused at Hung currently but Rita will also get snacks handed to her at some point.]
[Yeah, Rita just went off to do her own thing while people fussed over Hung. She looks up when Ox comes over.]
Huh? Sure.
[She tries it...]
... Not bad. You made this?
[After about three weeks of living together and eating together, Ox has probably had a chance to surmise that Rita likes sweets, in general. And that "not bad" is pretty good praise to hear from her.]
