[ You've arrived at 11:18 AM. Which entrances are you taking? ]

...I will take the Encore floor.

[ that is all she is going to say before entering the encore casino floor via the wynn self park garage. anyone else around looking suspicious? how's the general state of the game floor? ]

[ well. there she goes.

they're here and nico's just staring at this casino before frowning lightly and already veering off. ]

Ballroom Promenade it is then. I think can access it through the bus entrance and scope things out. [ before whisper gets too far though: ] Keep an eye on the time. We'll meet back at the Wynn Theater at noon.

[ and he starts to veer off, too. ]

I'll trust you to pick whatever area you can cover. [ and there he goes. he's going to head down to the tourbus loop, blending in with the crowd of people likely entering through the bus/ballroom entrance. how are things looking immediately? is the area busy at this time of day, or a little more quiet? does anything immediately look off? ]

[Whisper sure is the actions are louder than words type, but hey, whatever works.

Hans has also picked his entrance and strolls lazily in direction of the South Entrance; likely he'll be blending into the other half of the same crowd as Nico, heading in a different direction. He'll need to cover the Esplanade and the Casino itself, but it's not too bad, apart from the literal sea of people.

He does acknowledge the plan, though, before vanishing:]

Meow, I've seen more casino floors this last week than my own bed. Wynn Casino it is fer me. [it is very questionable how much he's seen his own bed but that's neither here nor there] Don't get lost, now.

[........ he may be the one at most risk of getting lost, but he's also got a decent sense of direction, so he can probably find himself again! Eventually. The most important thing is the mental map and copious aplomb.

Anyway, he'll actually take the Esplanade first for easier sweeping purposes. This place is like walking through a whole-ass temple... He's keeping an eye on the movements of the crowd, same as Whisper, looking for anyone moving or looking around in an unusual way or otherwise seeming out of place. They've got to sniff out any rivals, after all. While browsing the stores, he'll also check for any possible back rooms, areas that may not be on the map, more heavily guarded or secluded places.]

[ The casino floor looks normal for this time of day. There's several people gambling away, an arctic fox is at the bar and day drinking. It's hard to say if anybody really looks suspicious. A few people are already drunk.

The tour bus loop is extremely crowded at this time. A large bus has just arrived and people are heading into the casino. Nico can blend right in. Nothing immediately looks off about this entrance.

Nobody immediately looks like they're suspicious down the Esplanade. Mostly it just seems like tourists getting souvenirs and extremely expensive accessories. However, these places do have good security. Whatever they're selling over here is pricey. A few of these shops do seem to have backrooms.

Also even in their thieves fits, nobody seems to consider them suspicious.

It's Vegas, people are just like that here. ]

[ doot doot just continuing to check out the games floor. she will avoid the bar. going to take note of any security officers present and if they appear to have specific patrol routes. any employee or security access doors visible? ]

[ cool, love being able to seamlessly blend in and get lost in the crowd to the point nobody's looking at him twice. does it look like the people entering the casino are going in a specific direction moreso than others? or likewise are there any people who seem to be grouping off in a direction that seems off? he will "aimlessly" walk, looking at his surroundings and pretending to be a regular tourist looking to escape the vegas heat.

listen he is in all-black, even if it doesn't make him overly warm he can play the part. ]

[Hmhmmmm, well, it is a high-class area -- that much is easy to tell at a glance, so it's a toss-up once again whether they're just guarding their own goods or the all-important treasure back there. He'll take note of the various types of security, checking to see if there are guards and setups that are different from the others in any way that stands out.

He's not going to do a loop through every store, but he'll at least look around and keep his ears peeled too -- particularly for staff or even tourist gossip. Mostly he'll amble about and do ooh-ahh tourist things because he really is a wide-eyed tourist in some ways, this place just keeps getting crazier.

Also, I'm not sure what the view on the outside is like, but the lake and stuff is around here too, right?]

[ For Whisper: Security looks like regular security for a casino. There are a few people dressed in uniform looking over the floor. It seems like one is walking the perimeter of the casino counter clockwise, and another is walking through the floor itself.

A goat in a magician's robe is heading somewhere to the north.

There is the cashier's box, with a guard right next to it. But no employee or security access doors here.

For Nico: There's a group of teenagers in sports uniforms, they're going straight to the registration desk. There's a giraffe in a nice hat that's heading to the west (somehow they fit through the entrance). Some humans are going north and west from his entrance.

If he's going down the promenade, it doesn't look like there are a lot of people going this way.

Hans: There doesn't really seem to be any security that looks different than the others here. Plenty of security walking around, but they don't seem to linger too long in any one place.

The lake of dreams is indeed this direction, and he can look out at it if he'd like. ]

[ i am fascinated by this goat. whisper is going to quietly follow the goat.

except i rolled a 1. so. i gUESS STEALTH ISN'T GOING TO HAPPEN. ]

[ The goat spots her and immediately disappears into the crowd.

Goodbye mage goat. ]

she tries to not make it obvious that she is trying to follow after the goat, but it's no use - the goat is gone.

she will still head north, however, towards the lounge marked on the map to see if there's anything else of note. ]

[ There seems to be something metal on the water, but she can't quite see exactly what it is from here. ]

i guess she's getting in the water.

yes in her thief outfit and everything. WHAT ARE YOU MYSTERIOUS METAL OBJECT ]

She gets a little bit too close and the cage snaps shut on her.

She currently in a human sized racoon trap, but the bars are spaced so she cannot get out. ]

[All right, then! He'll mosey over to the Lake of Dreams vista and get a look at what's going on out there -- same deal, security details on the outside of the building, whether anything looks like it may be unusual or more guarded or not on the map, what the state of the lake and people are and whether anyone's acting odd.

Also, still keeping his ears perked for any interesting tidbits from passersby, staff or otherwise.]

[ It's hard to say what's out on the Lake of Dreams, the sunlight is really creating a glare. There are definitely people out there... Hans is pretty sure there's people out there.

There's a few people chatting about the show tonight and how they're so excited to hear the orchestra. Somebody else is complaining about how early they need to be to the airport tomorrow. ]

[Can he do a quick jaunt out to the lake to see if these are like, people or statues or trees or furries or what -- he's also kind of curious to see why it's called the Lake of Dreams, really, but he won't tourist too much on limited time. His sweep will end at the nightclub in that direction, anyway.

He'll do the same double-checks for security and map areas once he's out there, along with keeping a weather eye on the crowd.

It's kind of nice getting some fresh air, too, considering how crowded it is indoors. Even the Vegas sun is probably a bit more bearable lakeside.]

[ There's people just hanging out around the water, and an otter in a Hawaiian shirt. A few statues are also here.

The nightclub doesn't seem to be open just yet. There's protective bars around its entrance. ]

[Well......... he's going to check out a few of the statues to see if there's anything fun or unusual about them, like, is one pointing mysteriously at a hidden door or who-knows-what -- it's a cover for getting closer to the otter, but due to luck curse his tail gets tangled with a statue somehow and he gets stuck there for a couple minutes. Yay.

This is what he gets for being vain (furry).

His next move would be to shimmy away and peek through the nightclub bars inconspicuously to blend back into the crowd, but we'll see if the otter yeets first.]

[ okay. he's going to kind of ignore the teenagers because he thinks if they're actually checking into the hotel they probably are going to be busy for a while and are actually tourists. instead, he sees the giraffe and the humans heading west (keeping track of the ones going north as well) and decides he may as well head west to kill two birds with one stone, basically. he will follow the giraffe and the humans west.

is there anything particular about this giraffe? actually, are they a real giraffe? or is it a very convincing furry? do the humans and giraffe look as though they're going the same way west? i rolled a 14 so i guess he is marginally successful at tracking after them? ]

[ It's impossible to lose sight of a giraffe. They're a real giraffe with a nice hat and they're wearing a loosely fitted jacket. Giraffes are so tall.

This group kind of looks like they're going the same way west for a little while, but eventually they split up. Some of the humans go into the casino floor somewhere, the rest he loses, and the giraffe goes north. ]

[ he can always loop back to the casino later, he thinks. he loses the other humans but he is following the giraffe. are they heading north like how the other group of humans were going north? he will continue to follow and see if he can find those additional people from before, trying to get a senes of where they're going. ]

[ They might be. Hard to say where the other humans going north were heading towards.

This giraffe, however, is going to the buffet. ]

[ i guess he will tail the giraffe and check out the buffet anyway. it's close to lunch time, so he is exploring. how busy is the buffet right now? what's the layout of the room look like? is the giraffe going to eat alone, or are they looking to meet someone maybe? ]
