[Sigrun is a bit short-sighted when it comes to planning ahead. Great for improvisation, not so great for anything medium-term and onwards.

[Well. Saya TRIES to sneak in to the orphanage, but a 5 ain't gonna cut it. The red-haired teacher sees her pretty much immediately. HOWEVER he just smiles and pats her on the head.]

New around here? Don't worry, everyone is nice.

[Yep he is assuming she is a new orphan. She has infiltrated the orphanage, how is she getting those keys?

Also Sigrun's critfail will matter shortly, Saya has to get this first.]

[well. the plan was to distract him and steal the keys, so this works.

she blinks at him, letting him pat her head, and then sniffs miserably. uses her best set of puppy eyes to stare up at him.]

[does it seem like he's carrying his car keys and wallet in his pockets? just based on the bulk of them. if it seems like that's the case, she's gonna try to like... pickpocket him if she can get a hug from him.]

[The wallet and keys are there yes. And he would indeed give her a hug to try and comfort her, so she can pickpocket the keys.]

I know, it's hard. I was an orphan too. But it gets easier, trust me.

[her lip wobbles like she's about to burst into tears after robbing this well-meaning man's car keys. spoilers: they are not tears of sadness.]

[Sigrun is waiting near the orphanage for Saya to return]

Did you get them?

[Oh the feeling of impending doom that's befalling me when I know what's coming is one hell of a crash.

Upon receiving the keys, Sigrun would advise Saya to not get in the car and just wait there and that she'd come back after taking the car far away enough. Better safe than sorry because by now Sigrun knows someone being there while she drives is risky.

[With a nat 1 Sigrun is going to crash the car while leaving the driveway. Somehow she hit the telephone pole across the street.]

[WELL. You at least totaled the car, red haired teacher can't go to work.

Except he can just take the train and does so, he's at work the next day. The day that shit is supposed to go down.

[Welp, it's the day of the event and given they probably would be staking the school because Sigrun would suggest to be there and observe, just in case, they'd see the future victim of stabbing arrive.

Sigrun sighs]

Back to the planning table. First we'll have to get into the school somehow.

[And she turns her head towards Saya]

You know, it's been days since we saw spike hairs and Tama. What do you think happened to them?

[Three days since they separated into different ways]

[Just as part of planning, Saya would need a uniform to sneak in. Sigrun could also try to sneak in with a uniform but would have to be sneakier about it.]

[what if they mug an innocent student on their way to school for their uniform? real question. not clickbait.]

I don't know. But we'll probably see them again later. It's what happened to the group from last Thursday.

[she sighs.]

We could steal a uniform, and you can pretend to be my relative. Then it wouldn't look weird, right?

It could work. Aunt and niece, that probably is believable enough.

It shouldn't be all that hard for our boss to get uniforms for this school. They're supposed to provide us with anything we need, that should be easy enough.

[She says this because the thought of mugging a student isn't something that crosses Sigrun's mind as plan A, haha]

unfortunately, now they must mug a student. the mod tag has decreed it. while they continue to cause horrors:]

What should we do now? We didn't get the teacher's schedule.

That's what improvising is for. We still have a good amount of time before the time comes. I'd say we can manage even without the schedule. It's just a building. [She gestures, making a small cube with her hands] We'll manage.

[Well then, let's go try to get that uniform for Saya]

[The dice are being awful so I'm just going to say you guys can get the uniform for Saya. Normally during school they don't let late students in but since Saya is with an adult they will be let in and told where the office is. But like. Nobody's going to check and make sure they go to the office.

It's classtime, so the halls are quiet. Everyone is in their classrooms learning. Where do you begin your search?]

[do they know the names of their targets at all? they could just ask for the right classroom, if so...

but otherwise, quietly as to avoid an echo in the empty hallway—]

Should we split up to look for them? We need to keep them away from each other.

[since they are presumably in separate classrooms right now, teaching.]

[Sigrun considers it, reaching a possible suggestion:]

Let's meet half an hour before the deadline. Location: entrance hall. [Easy enough to find, open enough to not be too suspicious] Until then we both try to do what we can to figure out how to stop this with as little trouble for us all as possible.
