[Peering behind the curtains, Jolyne will find that one of the mattresses has been partially knocked off the bed frame. The EKG machine cables are haphazardly strewn on the floor next to it, and the IV drip needle has a bit of tape still attached to it.
There is nothing on the tables in room 2-3.
Behind curtain number 3, Datz finds that the mattress has been entirely removed from the bed. It is nowhere to be found. The EKG machine screen is shattered.]
[ ooooooookay. hm. he will look behind himself to make sure nothing was secretly sneaking up on him while he searched, then, yeah, check the ceiling, i guess??? looking at a meat ceiling sounds terrible even if there's nothing hiding up there, actually.
anyway if it's jut the Expected Ceiling Meat, then, uh, is there a bathroom in this room too like there apparently was in theirs? ]
[Nothing on the ceiling except the Expected Ceiling Meat. This goes for both Jolyne and Datz. There are no drawers or cabinets in the two patient rooms.
There is an additional door in both rooms, though. To the left in room 2-2, and to the right in room 2-1.
Opening that extra door, Datz will find a bathroom. There is a door on the other side of the bathroom.
Rita will find a lot of things when she looks at the office area! First of all, she will notice that the office chair is kind of askew, facing the door she came in through like someone got up and left. The computer isn't locked. Random meaty knickknacks and office supplies are strewn across the desk, like maybe they got knocked over, because there's some stuff on the floor too. She will find a single key in the drawer, with a label attached.
There's a mug on the desk, half filled with some murky black liquid.]
[ oh thank god... expected ceiling meat. can she go ahead and poke into the other door in this room then slowly...? she has her hand slid into her pocket for her letter opener, though she doesn't draw it immediately, waiting to see what's behind this other door. ]

if she tries to operate the computer, can she find any information? maybe something that would have prompted someone to suddenly get up and leave? hmm. ]
[ is this bathroom connecting 2-1 and 2-2, is that what seems to be happening here? if jolyne is opening the door on the other side datz will just stay in his room on the other side of the bathroom with his own letter opener in hand and peek in when he hears the handle turning. ]
[The bathroom does, in fact, connect 2-1 and 2-2. Jolyne and Datz are peeking into the bathroom at the same time, with their bloodstained faces. The bathroom light hasn't been turned on yet. Try not to stab each other... unless...?
The label on the key is all gibberish to Rita. Likewise, she can see some sort of messaging app open on the computer but she can't make heads or tails of what is written there.]
[ she just lets out a silent breath of relief. oh hi datz.
she does not attack him. she just leaves her letter opener in her pocket, hand still there and just looks around. does the bathroom look... empty. we didn't walk in on someone using it did we? anything fucked up in here (besides the gore.) ]

he'll... turn on the bathroom light i guess, if they're looking around in there? is it just a toilet and sink (and possibly air vent) or is there a bathtub/shower in there too? is there an ominous message written on the mirror or anything? ]
[Jolyne and Datz can rest easy knowing that they didn't walk in on one of the creatures in the shower.

[ rita and the teen don't have to wait long, because we are leaving we are leaving we are leaving!!!!!!! jolyne is coming out of 2-2 with datz so they can quietly make their way over to the elevator. gives a small nod to the both of them. ]
[The lights flicker when the teen turns the key. It is probably nothing to worry about, though, because the elevator doors slide shut after a moment and the cabin begins to move down. The group will get a short break to talk among themselves. The elevator will move as slowly as you need it.
The teen looks at the jars Rita brought with her, opening their mouth to say something — but then they clamp it shut. They glance at Datz, blinking.]
