Given it's current state of mind, it is incredibly easy for Jolyne to wrap her arm around it. This close to the creature, her bare feet make contact with the hot puddle of bodily fluids pooling on the floor. It splashes onto her bare legs in sharp contrast to how horribly cold the rest of her body feels right now.
Judging by the flopping noises, the creature's friend is leaving room 3-4 (their start location) right now.
The teen watches, a thoughtful look on their face, before they nudge Rita with their elbow. They gesture at the door that leads to the nurse's desk, mouthing a follow me before they begin to turn in that direction. Unless Rita stops them, they will carefully open that door, quiet as a mouse.
Datz can hurry over to the supply closet if he likes. Jolyne is bodying the creature, in any case, so it's not like it can refuse her orders. Inside the supply closet, Datz will find tattered but relatively clean scrubs of varying sizes.
Now... as for the other creature.
With her hostage in tow, Jolyne will watch the other creature slow to a stop once it spots her with its buddy. Unfortunately, her hostage is currently too terrified to do anything except blubber and cry, which is kind of counterproductive! One of its hands is shoved in the pocket of its pants, while the other is slowly raised in the air.
It approaches Jolyne carefully, watching her with dark brown eyes.]
But with a roll of 12, it promptly pulls it hand out of its pants and tosses something at Jolyne's face. It's small, gritty and it burns when it makes contact with the open wounds in her arm. And then, faster than she can react, the creature punches her in the face.]
[ SHE HAS BEEN PUNCHED!!!!!! this is the worst day of her life. pee feet and just. everything. i think it's literally so much that when the punch hits her in the face she actually stumbles back and nearly drops to the gross gross ground. between the gnawing hunger from the very start, the pain in her arm (is it better? is it worse? is she just kind of numb to it now? the world may never know), she just growling, trying to kick the fuck away from this thing now. ]

[ rita takes a few careful, quiet steps back, then turns and follows the teen.
she whips her head around to look back when the other creature lashes out at jolyne. what the hell!! but she knows better than to go running back right now. silently, she forces herself to focus and heads out toward the nurse's desk. what's going on over here? ]
[ over at the supply closet, datz sets down the chair and grabs three sets of scrubs and one extra pair of pants. he quickly jumps into the biggest set (leaving the hospital gown behind), tucks the other two under his arm for later distribution, and stuffs the extra pair of pants half into the pocket of the creature that's being held hostage because it's clearly going to need them.
he looks back up at the second creature just in time to see it approach jolyne, and kind of freezes up for a few too-long seconds because there's an eerie familiarity in this thing's mannerisms that he really doesn't know what to make of.
but he has to shake himself out of it, because no matter who it reminds him of, he's not letting it get away with hurting jolyne either. he gets behind her to try to catch her when she stumbles back. (unfortunately the chair is out of reach at the moment.)

Speaking of, the teen waits until the creature is completely focused on Jolyne and Datz to quickly run across the hallway, glancing back to make sure Rita is following. They dart into the room Rita initially woke up in, and open the door that the gang ignored earlier. A bathroom, judging by the general shape of it.
The teen crouches under the sink, and starts fiddling with something down there.]

Something about a hospital. About two murders. About patients that cannot be allowed to leave the hospital. Its voice is too strange. One of their hands hovers near their belt, where there's some kind of holster situation happening.
Jolyne's letter opener is right there unless she dropped it after taking the pee blob hostage.
Meanwhile, with Rita, the teen chews on their lower lip. The dried blood on their face sticks to the skin, cracking a little.]
... Okay. [They turn the grate around in their hands, thinking. Their eyes flicker to the door, as if trying to listen to what's happening out there. It's way too quiet.] What's your plan?
the minute datz tells her this, she adjusts her perspective unhappily... nodding. there is so much happening, that even a few dangerous seconds to breathe is worth it. these places force them to do all kinds of violent shit. can't a girl just be a girl!?
she grits her teeth and is just. really out here. is going to letter opener that hand immediately, the one going to the holster, because maybe the pain will get them to fuckin drop the phone-like device so they can actually destroy it this time. the police will still take a hot minute to get here maybe, but it's something.

[ rita exits the washroom and peeks out into the hallway. he's calling them!! they're just letting him call them!! god!!
jolyne moves to stab, and rita runs out into the hall at the same moment, hurling the stapler at the creature's other hand -- the one holding the phone. at this angle, she hopes it'll knock it out of his hand, or hit him in the face. or distract him while the others take him out. ]
[ okay, we're back in action!!!! following right on jolyne's heels, datz lunges to try to grab whatever the creature was going for in that holster as soon as she takes aim at its hand.
let's get a weapon that's quicker to use and less of a commitment to threaten people with than a heavy office chair!!! ]
With twin rolls of 11, the creature notices Jolyne and Datz lunging at it far too quickly. From the holster, it pulls out what they will vaguely recognize to be a gun from the shape of it alone, and then it aims it squarely at Jolyne's face with its finger on the trigger.
The creature does not see Rita coming, however. It didn't even know she was there.
Since it was holding the phone up to its ear(?), the stapler doesn't only succeed in knocking the phone out of its hand, but it also hits them squarely in the face. It is dazed by the impact long enough for Jolyne to stab it through the hand holding the gun. Datz can rip the gun out of its hands after Jolyne stabs it. However, he will also need to be careful. The creature's other hand darts out to punch him square in the face.
The phone goes flying down the hallway, right over Rita's head. It slams into the wall at the end of the hallway and falls to the ground with a wet thump. The tinny voice emanating from it sounds infinitely confused.
From room 3-4, the teen runs out with the vent cover in hand and uses it to smash the phone to pieces.]

datz and jolyne keeping its attention while rita just fucking bashes its hand with the stapler works out really well. she makes sure that the hand stabbing also yanks to the side to tear into the creature's appendage, her grip slick but strong before she yanks it out, bleed asshole.

but she will attack again if it continues to resist after this round, if she has to, with the letter opener if it really wants to die on this fuckin' hill. she looks ready to fuckin burn this place down!!!! frankly!!! ]

datz gets punched in the fucking face! and yells OW, WHAT THE HELL, MAN?? and drops the damn gun, which is going to go skidding across the floor behind him to where rita is over by the elevator. hopefully the safety wasn't off yet. ]

[ GRAB IT!! he's going to duck back into 3-3 quick just to grab that last set of scrubs he got out and also throw that at her, and then back up jolyne in holding this guy back until the elevator gets here. ]

With Datz running off to 3-3 and Rita running past all of them to get to the elevator, Jolyne now has the creature's undivided attention. It lunges at her, kicking and scratching and trying to throttle her one-handedly. It is not very successful, given that it rolled a hecking 2, but Jolyne rolled a 3 so it's not like she's doing great either.
The teen runs down the hallway to catch up with Rita, helping her push the gate aside and then bouncing on their feet nervously while they open the elevator. The cabin never left this floor, as it turns out, because it only takes a couple of seconds for the doors to slide open.

With twin rolls of 11, the creature notices Jolyne and Datz lunging at it far too quickly. From the holster, it pulls out what they will vaguely recognize to be a gun from the shape of it alone, and then it aims it squarely at Jolyne's face with its finger on the trigger.
The creature does not see Rita coming, however. It didn't even know she was there.
Since it was holding the phone up to its ear(?), the stapler doesn't only succeed in knocking the phone out of its hand, but it also hits them squarely in the face. It is dazed by the impact long enough for Jolyne to stab it through the hand holding the gun. Datz can rip the gun out of its hands after Jolyne stabs it. However, he will also need to be careful. The creature's other hand darts out to punch him square in the face.
The phone goes flying down the hallway, right over Rita's head. It slams into the wall at the end of the hallway and falls to the ground with a wet thump. The tinny voice emanating from it sounds infinitely confused.
From room 3-4, the teen runs out with the vent cover in hand and uses it to smash the phone to pieces.]

datz and jolyne keeping its attention while rita just fucking bashes its hand with the stapler works out really well. she makes sure that the hand stabbing also yanks to the side to tear into the creature's appendage, her grip slick but strong before she yanks it out, bleed asshole.
(seeing the teen smash the phone - she looks relieved for a millisecond)
but she will attack again if it continues to resist after this round, if she has to, with the letter opener if it really wants to die on this fuckin' hill. she looks ready to fuckin burn this place down!!!! frankly!!! ]

there's a cry of triumph when the teen smashes the phone. and for a fleeting moment, there's even a smile.
but they're not in the clear yet. rita runs ahead, straight past the creature that jolyne's trying to grapple with, to the elevator once more. she still has the keys. she'll try to open the gate and call the elevator once more. ]

datz gets punched in the fucking face! and yells OW, WHAT THE HELL, MAN?? and drops the damn gun, which is going to go skidding across the floor behind him to where rita is over by the elevator. hopefully the safety wasn't off yet. ]

[ GRAB IT!! he's going to duck back into 3-3 quick just to grab that last set of scrubs he got out and also throw that at her, and then back up jolyne in holding this guy back until the elevator gets here. ]

The teen runs down the hallway to catch up with Rita, helping her push the gate aside and then bouncing on their feet nervously while they open the elevator. The cabin never left this floor, as it turns out, because it only takes a couple of seconds for the doors to slide open.
